I am passionate about healthy relationships and marriages and love the work I do! As a family mediator, I eased couples through the divorce and child custody process, helping them move past their ongoing (often destructive) conflicts to start their new, “separate” lives as peacefully as possible. After spending time at a nonprofit in Dallas focused on relationship and family strengthening, I shifted my efforts to prevention.

Once I learned nearly 70% of marriages on the path to divorce are savable, I became bound and determined to use my training in relationship

education, conflict management, and communication to reach couples earlier, before trouble creeps in. I equip couples with the research-based, practical tools they need to approach relationship transitions with confidence...setting them up for long-term success.

In addition to educating and preparing engaged and newlywed couples for the adventure of marriage, I consult and train in a variety of areas. I present regularly on conflict resolution, communication, and relationship dynamics for organizations and community groups. I also teach family sciences courses at a local university occasionally.

I am blessed to "do life" with my faithful, silly, endlessly patient husband, our energetic, curious little girl, and a mischievous kitten. Marriage has been my most daring, humbling, and incredible adventure yet - one that fuels my passion for this work each and every day.
